Women in the City

The City of London is synonymous with suited business and finance men, but did you know that many extraordinary women have been trail blazers and glass ceiling breakers in the course of the Square Mile's 2000 year history?

To celebrate Women's History Month in March 2026 we are running walks which celebrate these historic women of the City. You will meet campaigners, entrepreneurs, heroines, business owners and social reformers all of whom made an extraordinarv impact in what was otherwise very much a man's world.
